About the project
Drawn to You is a short animated film about love, identity, and finding your way back to someone you love. Composed for the Composition for Screen Showcase at the Royal College of Music, the project holds a particularly personal meaning for me.
I found parts of myself reflected in the story, which led me to approach the score from a deeply personal perspective. I combined my own vocals with electronic and orchestral elements to create an intimate and emotionally immersive sound world. The vocal material functions as an extension of the character’s inner voice, while electronic and orchestral textures create a contrast between organic and synthetic timbres. The score was performed live by a full orchestra in the pit as part of the RCM Composition for Screen Showcase, accompanying the animation in real time.
